Hmm... no. Mainly cause I haven't played those and they aren't really "kids games" the way I mean. But yes in some arcade side scrolling games as well, especially shooters. I would just wait without shooting an enemy while just watching him fire endlessly at the place where I have cover and then get bored and shoot him at random places like the foot or something. I have a arcade-esque spiderman game(a game that comes built in to a game-station with just a joystick and two buttons for gameplay) and one of the things you can do is punch/kick while crouching on all fours, and let me tell you, its super satisfying especially since according to the game, you cracked their bones. You can punch normally as well while standing, but its not as epic or safe since you are more open to bullets and such.

And in one of the gameboy games for Spiderman, you can play as Venom and your signature move is to web someone over to you and then eat him completely and replenish your health. And you do that as many times as you want O_o

Strangely, Spiderman 3(for PC at least) is also sadistic. You can continue to pummel an enemy for hours even after he is KO and get no repercussions other than your hands aching from using so many button combos on the dead corpse which you use as a yoyo XD If that doesn't yell "brutality!" I don't know what does. True enough it can't even compare to God of War or Gears of War.

Why is there so much Spiderman in this comment? Well now you know he is my favourite childhood super-hero =P And why I despise the godawful reboot with the "Amazing" in it.
