1. Either the open-ended assassinations, as I felt the assassinations had become too scripted in previous games (although I always diligently did the optional objectives), or the implementation of an underwater camera (AC3 didn't change the swimming at all but its PSVita sister title did).

QOTW - Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Beyond: Two Souls, Watch Dogs and The Division all look interesting. Thing is, I'm not a big gamer (I buy an average of three games a year) and there's lots of cool games I still haven't played (the last two CODs, Hitman Absolution, Lego LOTR, Fall of Cybertron, Tomb Raider, Last of Us).
