Thoughts on the Russian Revolution game:
Locations: Perfect. I wouldn't have Brest-Livotsk in the game though.
Historical events: I love the idea of starting this game with the 1905 Revolution. I'm not sure what to put in the period in between 1905 and 1917 (when the actual revolution begins) but other then one World War One battle (Tannenberg is a good candidate for this), I'm not sure. Also, I would not have Lenin be a victim of the Assassins, I'd have Stalin--a Templar--be behind the assassination of Lenin in order to stop the Assassin directed New Economic Policy from taking shape and showing the world that their utopia really could be achieved. Or something. And thats where the game ends.
Assassins: Again, perfect. I called Felix Yusupov being an Assassin years ago. Leon Trotsky works well as an Assassin too. Another one I would advocate being an Assassin (or an ally of the Assassins) is Peter Kropotkin.
Templars: Great ideas, but the thing is, not many of them serve as outright assassination targets, other then Rasputin and Kolchak, who die during the events of the game. All the others die years after the ideal ending of the game in 1924.
I see the player character in this game being a Russian nobleman of a family that has served as the agents of the Assassin Order in the Russian Empire, as they would be able to move within circles others would work. The character, much like Peter Kropotkin, is attracted to the philosophies of the Assassins and of the communists when he sees the gross inequalities of Russian society. I would also make him a cousin of Felix Yusupov.
More ideas to come.
