  1. Before Desmond died, he said he wanted to side with Juno as there could be a way to stop her. So there will likely be another game with the assassins trying to stop Juno.
  2. There's WAY too many hanging plot points, so this just being the end would be very unsatisfactory.
  3. Assassin's Creed makes a lot of money for Ubisoft. Do you think Activision would just drop CoD? Or that EA would drop Battlefield? Microsoft has even shown us that a big cash cow, i.e. the Halo franchise, is too valuable to stop making, so they formed 343 and started work on Halo 4.
