Forgive me, internet freaked out. Not sure what happened. Anyway, HERE is the stuff I wrote out and will be posting on my own blog at some point, with the rest of my outlines:

a. The Saint Bartholomew’s Day Massacre marks the beginning of the game, and it is used by the Templars as a chance to strike out at the Assassins, many of whom are backing the Huguenots in the French Wars of Religion. The main character’s father (who is described below) is one of the victims of the massacre, and is rescued by Francis Walsingham, Elizabeth I’s principal secretary, founder of the world’s first secret service/police force, and a potential Assassin. Other elements that are going to be included, but have not been totally determined how, include: the Eighty Years’ War (for those who don’t know history well, otherwise known as the Dutch Revolt against the Spanish), the Sea Beggars (a group that has to include a few Assassins, read up on them), the assassination of William the Silent and its aftermath, the Spanish Armada of 1588, how Elizabeth I acquired an Apple of Eden (especially if, as believed, this Apple was the one that belonged to Altaïr), the School of Night (see the Wikipedia article on them, if these guys aren’t potential Templars or Assassins I don’t know what are), the Cecil family are potential Templars, the Shakespeare authorship question would be shown (I support the idea of the Earl of Oxford being the writer of Shakespeare’s plays), Mary, Queen of Scots is being backed by the Templars (indeed, Scotland would play a major role in this game), a visit to the court of Rudolf II in Prague (with ties to the events shown in the third set of memories in the Divine Science pack in Project Legacy), the succession crisis involving James I of England, Irish politics (and the related, attempted usurping of power by Robert Devereux, Earl of Essex,), the suspicious murder of Christopher Marlowe (who was believed to be an agent of the English government), the infamous Gunpowder Plot in 1605, and would finally end in the early 1600s, with the main character settling down, retiring, and having a family, much like Ezio.'

Another note: the player character is an ancestor of Haytham and Connor Kenway. The Kenways are presented as being one of the great families of the English Assassins, are they not?
