"You guys are all forgetting: Corey May stated shortly after ACII came out that as long as he is involved with AC, the series will never do a game set in WWII. Its been done to death."

And he has also stated that he is willing to do any setting, but that he simply does have preferences. Not that I am in favor of World War II as a setting, but this argument is invalid. Just wish that people would stop hoping for it though. It's just a boring setting indeed, so unoriginal.
