It could be Liverpool?

But, yeah I guess it would be neat to see how out the strides in innovation could be used as a setting. Riding on giant steam ships or new trains from place to place, chasing down major templar industrialists through factories, or causing gas explosions in buildings, so who knows. Personally I like having a geographic marker.
