Thanks! And oh man, there is so much good stuff there! (And by good stuff I mean bad stuff, but fascinating stuff). It's also such a core part of American identity politics and American folklore.

While I would have chosen the Boxer Rebellion to set Assassin's Creed III in, I still think the backdrop to this game holds so much potential. I also think the more you know about history, and this is true with all of the games, the more you'll get out of the experience - even though it's not completely historically accurate.
