Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood WAS "Assassin's Creed 3". It continued the story from #2 and it was the third in the series, it was also in no way a simple "expansion" with all its content. Why do I feel like a minority in thinking that!?!

I do agree however that I think we should be cautious about not getting over hyped just to be safe from dissapointment. Besides, that way if Ubisoft DO deliver then the game will seem all the better.
