I could say, for the sake of the argument, that Connor would be killing a lot more Redcoats than Continentals in the game - but there's a reason for it. Ubisoft prides themselves on historical accuracy and like it or not, the Americans won. If Connor went around assassinating the entire Continental army, it would seem highly unlikely for them to win the war. I'm also sure that they're probably going to release some footage of Connor trying out some new kill animations on some Continentals, just to calm all the people saying the game is very "America F*** Yeah", if you get my point.
