And on top of what Altair said, Desmond, if he had've chosen to let the world burn, would have become, practically, the next Jesus Christ. It would be blasphemous to use his name as yours. This guy... is irreplaceable. I don't think any modern-day character will be able to top someone who had the potential to be the next Jesus Christ... unless they have such a high concentration of First Civilization DNA that they are practically First Civilization themselves.
