I asked Darby McDevitt, the writer for Revelations, if Ahmet was a Grand Master after the game came out. He said that he did not write Ahmet to be a Grand Master, and noted that his mentions of a Grand Master in the game's script were a bit clumsy; both in reference to the Templar Order and the Assassin Order.
