No I don't want someone arrogant and naive. Preferably someone more silent and gruff but calculating, somewhat like Batman I suppose. XD Haytham was good but I want someone more secretive and to be honest Haytham made me laugh quite a bit. I have high hopes for Edward's personality but apparently he isn't the secretive type through most of the game. He wants to make a name for himself and first of all has to grow as a person.

Actually give him Agent 47s personality.
