No. Not all buildings have conveniently placed holes, edges and jagged parts to help climbing. If they want realism they need to make more buildings that you can't climb without first getting a Grappling hook and firing it to the top of the building with the crossbow and then climbing to the top. It would be challenging if alerted guards could cut the rope making you fall to your death XD
