I agree. I could possibly be Desmond. I haven't finished AC2 yet, but they mention how he is working to become an assassin himself. Maybe if will be set in 2012 in the time of Desmond and be him and the rest of the assassins trying to defeat the Templars.

Also, it could be in England maybe? I am thinking it would most likely be a European setting if it is in fact in the past.
