Hum , Ezio is the descendant of Altair , it's stated many times in ACII , plus if Desmond was a mix from Ezio and Altair bloodlines , how come that Ezio has Altair's codex and armor (which his stated that's his "ancestor" old armor) and more strange why the hell would Ezio look like Altair ?

AC doesn't need a stupid retcon and the eagle vision is reserved to the assassins , it's their sixth sense which is possessed since their childhood (like Giovanni Borgia) and about this "sixth sense" , i'm not so sure the gods were speaking about the eagle vision but more about the ability to travel trough memory and our DNA , just like Ezio with Altair or Desmond.
