Patrice also said that recruits in Brotherhood would follow behind you on the rooftops. Patrice contradicted a lot of what actually happened in the games. Although he was great, English wasn't his second language, and he was always very excited and animated when he talked about it. The people writing AC2 knew that they weren't related, and made sure never to say they were.
