No no no no no. Not good. Sofia has never been referred to as possibly being related to Altair, and Desmond is meant to be the culmination of a sort of 'breeding program' in the Brotherhood, in order to mix a lot of ancient and exciting bloodlines. Altair's descendants had kids with Ezio's descendants, making Desmond. There's no telling where the lines split off.
