Ok I will explain to you why none of this would work... 1. Clay was erased from the animus data banks. 2.Playing as Desmond wouldn't work because there's guns and the buildings are too tall, anyway why would you rather have modern era over e.g French revolution or American revolution (which is the case in AC3).
