Great article but there's one line that makes me question the authors credentials: "...global catastrophe that wiped out The First Civilization a millennia ago." If he meant 1000 years it should have been "a millennium ago." And we all know it was a lot more than 1000 years ago. But if he meant thousands of years ago, it should've been "millennia ago" - without the "a." I'm probably just being extremely picky though.
