Yeah true, but the animus is also kinda "2012" and some stuff they have in AC does already exist in real, and the buildings, like the Assassins HQ at Dubai, this buildings do also exist.

Most of the stuff in AC does already exist (besides the animus) but it isn't all around the world because of money (damn capitalism).
