That is one interesting possibility. They probably all got hit in the face by someone who was a Templar, marking Desmond's family as an enemy, hahaha. I still think the scar will cause a deja vu kinda thing. We still haven't seen how Desmond or Altair got those scars in their lips, so we can't really say much.
