Or with other major event? Well, it could also be Venezuela's Independence War, throughout 19th century, with historical characters such as Simón Bolívar and Francisco de Miranda aiding the Assassin in fight against the Spanish Empire. This is my first option, for I live and was born in Venezuela ;)
