I honestly disagree with your point made about World War II. Yes I know that I would be very involved guns, like a "third-person COD", but that dosen't mean that the Assassin character has to use guns. They could have all of the classic Assassin's weapons like the hidden blade and use a pistol or something as a secondary weapon. Take the Desmond gameplay in ACIII for example, everyone had a gun, but you still use hidden blade and knives.

They CAN make an Assassin's Creed game with WWII setting without overusing guns.
