So they want to frame him... and the point of that? To this day no one knows who the killer was, so what would be the point of killing 5 whores to frame someone who they don't even know what looks like? If they did they would have posters of him, descriptions, etc. Trying to make out the killer was some unfortunate person who was good all along and was merely framed would be stupid, not work out well at all, and you have a twisted imagination.
