Well, Assassin's Creed isn't a strategy game, so a different take on Japan (historic action-adventure) might do it some good.

Personally I don't mind where they take the series, as long as they put more than enough work into making it good.

I'd rather wait 2+ years for a new game, provided they maintain their multiplayer to a good standard until then, to keep me occupied and eager.
