I'm not sure who you are talking to, but what you said is exactly what I had in mind. Come into conflict with a clan of shinobi and go up against them for like a sequence. Obviously it wouldn't be a direct battle. But considering how their training is somewhat similar to an Assassin's, they would make for very interesting enemies, especially when it comes to gameplay.
