This is more of a question for Sima. But I believe so. Samurai and ninja were not separate. Many were both, Hanzo is a good example of that. Also, samurai vs. shinobi never happened either. Not to say a samurai and shinobi never fought, but it was never some sort of large conflict as people believe.
