Very good points. You are a true AC fan. Regarding the gay/bisexual one, I think you only pick up actions, but in Brotherhood you could pick up feelings somewhat. I'm going to assume they avoid that in fear of offending someone or lawsuits.

I assume if the animus didn't translate he would learn the languages.
