Personally I think it would be a bit too much like Prototype then. New York is just way too overused in today's games. Assassin's Creed's story has been heavily based in Italy, so why not keep it at least based there? I would love to see a new Desmond game, and as cool as it would be to see a Leap of Faith off of the Chrysler Building in New York, it would just feel like Prototype then.
