1. The hidden blade was modified by Altiar after the events of AC1 using the Piece of Eden. He did this because the Brotherhood was going underground and so no assassin could be identified by his or her ring finger. 2. Believed to be somewhere in Europe due to the fact that the Assassin base is in Florence in ACII 3. I'm not sure... My theory is that she will be recruited as an appearance in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood 4. They enslave minds... Also two quote Shaun Hastings about the assassins "Good guys lets not get carried away." 5. The Feathers in AC1 were meant to be proof that Altiar actually assassinated the target, and Petruccio just collects feathers. 6. Because they all have separate lives in the Renaissance, so that know one can identify them as assassins. 7. Machiavelli is kinda the Grand Master (or at least the De Facto leader of the assassins in Italy) Otherwise Ezio is the Grand Master at the end of ACII and during Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
