I think people should play the game in french, with english subtitles, for a really cool immersion (on a second playthrough maybe). I did that in italian with ACII and Brotherhood and it was nice.

I should warn you tough that french dubbing is not that great, they will often change insults, phrases, etc. I have never played a game in french, I really don't like it, maybe it's because I was born, raised and still live in Paris. It might be different for you. Anyway, I still don't know if I'll play it in french or english.
