I'm more peeved with the excuse "Oh, people know that Frenchmen have French accents, so we don't have to include these."

Oh really, fool? Then why the hell all the Muslim, Italian and Turkish general populace in AC1 and 2/BH/Rev had their proper accents? What, people were unaware how those sounded or something? "Myes, let's populate revolutionary France with British people."
