Maybe you should have said something such as "In my personal opinion, I do not believe Istanbul is a better name for the city over Constantinople" etc.

Also, I don't want to sound like a dick, but you don't need to use ellipses whenever you want to add a pause in what you're writing. That's what commas and periods are for, since ellipses are for a dramatic pause. It would help if you cut it up into paragraphs too, because it looks like a wall of text.
