I just read up on the Eagle Vision article. Nothing in it says it is based on instinct. In fact, it seems to indicate otherwise: that Eagle Vision is an objective detection of alignments.

Now, if I'm wrong, where's the source that it is based on instinct, and if so, why is it not in the Eagle Vision article?
