That, on it's own, makes perfect sense.

However, when you take Lucy's personalty in account, and the way she cares about her fellow Assassins. They clash horribly. If there was a little more foreshadowing, like Lucy being a little more short with Desmond and the others sometimes, or doing something slightly suspicious, then I could believe it.

But there was no foreshadowing AT ALL that Lucy was a traitor. None. That's why I cannot believe it.
