Who says it wasn't just a double bluff, to get deeper into abstergo? or that shes just working for her self, she'd of got killed if she was an assassin and she got killed since she was a templar.

But i do sort of agree a first i thought it was a weak choice but they'd planned it all the sutle hints before that people had picked up on.
