I think that the whole "How far will they go?" argument is pointless now. The only reason we ever doubted them going to later periods was because of guns, but we have proof now that they don't have much of an issue integrating them.

To put it short, I would not be surprised if next year's AC is in WW1 or even later. But, although I actually believe now that that could be interesting, I think they should go back in time for at least one game after Syndicate.
