Most of those articles seem to be developers expressing their own thoughts and opinions though. I reckon if the brand team decides it's where to go next, then it will be so. To me it would seem like a logical next step. Unity set the stage for the Templar Order's change to becoming businessman rather than aristocrats and cardinals etc. Syndicate will likely show us the early stages of their capitalist rule. It would make sense for the following game to see the Templars' capitalist plans unfold in the "Plan" – World War II and its lead-up.
