The whole point of the series is that it is a never-ending war - there will be no outcome. Both groups fight for an ideal; you can't defeat an ideal.

<Charles Lee>Why do you persist...?</Charles Lee> They won't wrap the story up for a long time. They will be releasing a game every year. Prayin' and hopin' won't change that. I'd instead direct my prayers to the games keeping up the quality that had been established in previous games.
