User blog:Subject AMDR/Adam's Memories

So the Truth Files make up the recording we seen in ACII, taken from memories Subject 16 viewed whilst in the Animus. If Subject 16 and 17 (Desmond) are both descendants of Adam, why don't they plug Desmond into the Animus to view Adam's memories? Surely this would enlighten our modern day assassins somewhat to what exactly is going on!?
I seem to remember (but might be making this up) that they purposefully were trying to view ancestors memories that they knew had the POEs, in an attempt to find them. But even so, viewing the memories of Adam at the very start would surely be more beneficial?
