So I've been thinking latley about the Assassin's Creed film. According to all sources that I have checked, Fassbender is confirmed as playing Desmond. Personally I'd rather not have a movie about a story we already know. I'd prefer it if Ubisoft decided to expand on the universe they have already created. Fassbender could play one of the earlier subjects and they go through his ancestral memories. We get new characters (with the exception of Vidic and possibly Lucy) and a new era to discover. I'm looking forward to the movie, no doubt, but I'd be much more pleased with an original story in the Assassin's Creed Universe.
