File:Game Theory The Assassin's Creed Shared Universe Conspiracy
You believe the theory?

Okay so, I know the common complaint around the recent Assassins Creed entries are that, well the modern day story sucks. Well, yes it does, but this theory here created(or at least shared) by MattPatt of the GameTheory channel suggests that Watch_Dogs, Asassin's Creed, Splinter Cell (etc) all share a single world, similar to what the Marvel Cinematic Universe is doing with the Avengers, Guardians the Galaxy and the Inhumans, what Universal is doing with their monster movies, and the X-Men-Fantastic 4 movies.

Now, while I whole heartedly agree, support and share this theory(I love the concept of a shared universe more than anything), I can totally see this backfiring on Ubisoft if this is true, as, commonly when they do a shared universe, there is a common threat that puts these protagonists together. I really don't see a common threat that would make The Fox of Chicago, Aiden Pierce team up with Miles and the Assassin Brotherhood, or anything that would cause Sam Fisher to team with Aiden. Abstergo, I guess, but what could they do? It's not like they can turn into a giant lava monster.

Anyway, thanks for reading this poorly written blog, if you agree, great, if you don't that's cool too. Feel free to share your thoughts below. Have a good night, and a pleasant tomorrow! :D
