I actually thought the trailer was pretty exciting, but maybe I was just distracted by Evie and Jacob being pretty in the cutscenes lol. And "dank"? Someone's taking on lingo from the subreddit :P

Darwin probably did something important alongside the Assassins, as he is an ancestor of Vanessa.

Seems logical.

You know, I've read people complain that this DLC is content cut out of the main story because it's got motion-capture cutscenes and an actual plot, but if that were true, I don't see how Darwin and Dickens would appear in the main game. Like, the trailer clearly shows Evie and Jacob meeting Dickens and Darwin, so that'd be the starting point of an alliance - that's not the kind of stuff you'd want to use for DLC cause players that didn't pre-order would encounter Dickens and Darwin in the story later and be all like "wait what how do I know this guy again? why are we friends?"

So either Ubi has really screwed over the people who don't pre-order, or Darwin and Dickens only appear in the pre-order content and don't actually feature in the main storyline - which would be a bit weird, given they're so famous. That's what I'm thinking anyway.
