Oh man. I was watching the latest episode of Manhattan (very good drama series about the Manhattan Project) about an hour ago and thought to myself this was one period drama I watch that hasn't been featured in AC yet. So much for that then.

If it's not a continuation of the original series I'm sure this'll be canon, as the non-canon aspect was never well-received. (Also there's not really any keeper of the lore at Ubisoft AFAIK.)
