I don't really think "Ezio's Family" was overused. Classical Star Wars songs are repeated across every game with variations after all. However, it did feel out of place in its remix in Rogue, and moreover, I think the greater issue is whether it matches the setting. I think the track for each game should match the setting, and "Ezio's Family" would feel out of place for Egypt. It'd be wonderful for Ubisoft to compose original songs based on the musical culture of the setting they're dealing with, which I'm not sure if they already do or don't since so far they've mostly stuck around European settings. The shanties are actually kind of related to this even if they weren't original.
