As I said in your other post, I don't think there is any merit to indulging in conspiracy theories without any evidence. We should not be suspicious about such things without cause. Besides, the idea that the Templars truly exist, and Ubisoft is their public front is... really far'fetched. xD... Even if it wasn't entirely ludicrous, you would think that Ubisoft would then be making the Templars the protagonists not the Assassins. The Assassin's Creed series of games is very liberal for the most part.
