I didn't badge hunt, if I ever did it would have been before I knew about it. The Caterina Sforza picture was actually weird, when I tried to add it to the gallery it changed into a different picture which I didn't upload :( Who doesn't like getting badges? It's like achievements on xbox or trophies on ps3, they're there to be collected, it's all part of the fun of the wiki. I also don't leave my images unsourced, I use the template every time I upload a picture.
