The "things" you're referring to are most likely the userboxes and Apprentice banner. To earn these, you must become an Apprentice, but seeing as you only have 40 edits and do not qualify, you are not yet eligible to apply for an Apprentice role. Please reread this page for the qualifications. On a side note, we Apprentices do not apply to the initiative simply to gain userboxes and a banner; we apply because we want to further our work on the wiki and become better writers and contributors.<ac_metadata title=""> </ac_metadata>
