Given that there is a category for countries by continent, should there be one organized by region? --Nostalgia of Iran (talk) 20:19, April 11, 2014 (UTC)

Too complicated. Most countries do not have a populace that aheres entirely to a single religion: also, there might be multiple different fractions of that religion within the same country as well, which are similar in some regards, but different in others.
